Absolutely! All MSiR demos and tools are free for educational use. You can share links with students, embed demos in learning management systems, or use them during presentations. We ask that you provide attribution when sharing. If you're using MSiR in your curriculum, we'd love to hear about it and may feature your use case on our site.
Yes! The MSiR database is completely open and accessible at madlab.science/database. It contains comprehensive information about printing hardware, substrates, inks, and compatibility relationships. The database includes filtering, search, and a visual compatibility matrix. We're continuously expanding the dataset with more vendors, equipment, and materials.
For bug reports or feature requests, you have several options:

MSiR is currently a passion project maintained by a solo developer/educator with industry experience in creative manufacturing. All tools and demos are free and open-source. We're exploring sustainable funding models including educational partnerships, consulting services, and potential grants. Our priority is keeping all core educational content free and accessible. If you'd like to support the project, reach out about collaboration or partnership opportunities.
